NASHVILLE, Tenn. – SSR now ranks 8th on Building Design and Construction magazine’s list of the nation’s top 50 design engineers firms, moving up one spot from 2006.

Companies in the nonresidential building industry are selected based on the amount of projects in all areas – commercial, institutional, industrial and multifamily residential – completed in that year.

Building Design and Construction evaluates companies in 35 different categories. This year, SSR ranks in eight: 84th among the top 100 office design firms; 16th among healthcare design firms; 55th among the top 100 K-12 school design firms; 31st among the top 100 university design firms; 52nd among the top 100 government design firms; 27th among the top 100 industrial design firms; and 44th among the top 100 reconstruction design firms.
