SSR, an engineering design and facility consulting firm, recently hired Peter Kendrick as a senior consultant in its Nashville office.

In his new position, Kendrick will consult with clients on unique assessment of hospital facilities to determine compliance with the National Fire Protection Agency’s 101:® Life Safety Code® and The Joint Commission’s Environment of Care, Life Safety and Emergency Management standards.

Kendrick has more than 35 years experience in maintenance and project management where he served as both a Naval Officer and as a facility director in several hospitals.  Prior to joining SSR, he served as a director of operations for the Aramark Corporation where he was responsible for providing Joint Commission and regulatory support throughout the western region of the United States.

Kendrick received a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a master’s in marine science from the University of Rhode Island.
