MEMPHIS, Tenn. – SSR has hired Marc Wright as computer aided design and drafting (CADD) technician for the firm’s Memphis office.

Wright is responsible for aiding and assisting engineers with heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) design by utilizing AutoCAD, a computer aided drafting program.

Wright previously worked as senior CADD designer for Spirco Manufacturing in Memphis, Tenn., where he was responsible for the development of construction erection plans, structural framing details and roof plans.  He has also worked as a CADD instructor for Vatterott College.

Wright earned an associate’s degree in computer aided drafting technology from Vatterott College, where he also received the 2002 student of the year award.
