SSR has hired two new employees in its Southwest division offices. Matt Thrasher has been hired as communications consultant for the firm’s Houston office and James Keig as electrical engineer for the firm’s Dallas office.
Thrasher is responsible for structured cabling systems, low voltage communications and data network design.
Previously, Thrasher worked as a technology consultant for PBK Engineers. He has also served as manager of engineering for Commercial Access Controls, Inc. and as a project engineer for Enco Systems, Inc.
He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI). He is a graduate of Florida Technical College in Orlando, Fla.
Keig is responsible for engineering design in healthcare facilities including lighting systems, emergency power systems and power distribution.
Prior to joining SSR, Keig worked in Houston for PBK Engineers, Inc. and CHP& Associates Inc.
Keig earned a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He belongs to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is a licensed professional engineer.
