NASHVILLE, Tenn. – SSR has hired Thomas McNamara as a senior communications consultant. He will work remotely from Boston, overseeing communications projects in the Northeastern United States and will report to the firm’s Nashville headquarters.

McNamara’s responsibilities will include communications and systems planning for hospitals, high-tech and higher educational facilities.

Prior to joining SSR, McNamara has held key positions in the industry over the last twenty years, and most recently worked as enterprise data network field team support for Nortel Networks.

McNamara is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer with Building Industry Consulting Services International since 1989 and has served on the planning board for the town of Auburn, Mass. He received a certificate of professional achievement in Data Communications from Northeastern University in Norwood, MA.
