MEMPHIS, Tenn. – SSR Ellers, the Memphis, Tenn. office of engineering design and facility consulting firm Smith Seckman Reid, Inc (SSR) has hired Justin Avent as a civil engineer for its environmental group.

 Avent will be responsible for designing site development, water, wastewater and drainage projects throughout the Mid-South. Prior to joining SSR, he worked for ETI Corporation in Memphis as a civil engineer.

Avent holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Memphis and is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
