HOUSTON, Texas. – Sept. 12, 2008 –SSR, an engineering design and facility consulting firm, has hired John Offield as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) program manager.

 Offield brings to this new position expertise in Revit/BIM building design software, 3D modeling and management of building data. His responsibilities will include research, development, implementation and training of the overall BIM process as it relates to the firm’s projects. Prior to joining SSR, Offield worked as a BIM specialist manager and IT director for a Nashville-based architectural firm.

SSR has completed over two-million square feet of BIM modeling.
