HOUSTON – SSR has hired Krish Maharaj as mechanical engineer in the firm’s Houston office.

Maharaj is responsible for design of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems of all descriptions.

Previously, he worked as a senior mechanical engineer for Atlas Comfort Systems USA in Houston. He also worked as a senior project manager at LDI Mechanical in Corona, Calif. and HGAC Engineer for Sgorbati & Associates in Cheshire, Conn. His experience includes project management, energy calculation and overall design, analysis and implementation of a variety of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Maharaj is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University in Los Angeles.
