SSR has promoted Jim Edwards and hired Chris Miller as vice presidents in the firm’s Denver office.

Edwards is responsible for the overall management of a multi-discipline design team of project managers, engineers, and engineering technicians. His areas of expertise include heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, as well as hydronic and steam systems.

With 30 years of experience, Edwards is a professional engineer in both Colorado and Wyoming and was previously a project manager for SSR. He received his bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from Texas A&M University and his master’s in mechanical engineering from University of California, Berkley.

Miller manages the low voltage design team for SSR’s southwestern division. With expertise in health care construction, master planning and information technology, Miller is a certified professional in healthcare information and management systems.

Miller has 20 years of experience in the engineering profession and is affiliated with the Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc. He received his bachelor’s in business administration and MBA from Webster University.
