Firms Awarded University Technology Park at IIT Campus Commissioning Services Contract

NASHVILLE, Tenn., – SSRCx, LLC, a total facility commissioning provider, has formed a joint venture with Chicago-based engineering firm Cotter Consulting, Inc. (CCI), to establish a presence in Chicago and the Midwest.

The two firms were recently awarded their first project together, to provide commissioning services for the University Technology Park/Chemical Research Building, a $58 million research lab at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

“This is a great opportunity for SSRCx to partner with an established Chicago-based firm that serves similar industry sectors and expand our geographic presence in the Midwest,” said Mike Coyne, managing principal of SSRCx, LLC.  “I’ve come to know Anne Cotter over the past year and it seemed natural to explore a relationship where we could partner on commissioning projects in the Chicago area.
