PHOENIX - SSRCx has hired Denise van den Bossche, LEED® AP, as director of LEED facilitation sales for the Southwest region in the firm’s Phoenix office.

In her new position, van den Bossche is responsible for the marketing and sales of LEED services for the firms Sustainable Solutions Group – a team of LEED AP experts specializing in the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings according to guidelines set by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Specifically, she will advocate the benefits and opportunities available through implementing sustainability tools within an organization and communicate those goals to internal and external clients.
Van den Bossche has more than 20 years of business development experience in the greater Phoenix commercial construction sector, with a focus on sustainable building methodologies and green building commissioning and certification programs. Prior to joining SSRCx, she served as co-founder of the Corporate Environmental Strategies team for Colliers International, where she obtained Arizona’s first LEED Platinum listing available to the private sector.
Van den Bossche earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University. She is actively involved in the U.S. Green Building Council, and was recently elected to its national Greenbuild Program Committee. She is also co-founder of the Green Building Real Estate Bus Tour and co-host of a weekly radio show entitled, “Who’s Building Your Future” on KFNX in Phoenix.
As her first order of business, van den Bossche successfully launched SSRCx’s suite of LEED facilitation services at the National Association of Industrial Office Properties (NAIOP) first national “green” conference, held March 12-13 in Glendale, Ariz.
