Getting Into Hot Water

Citizens of industrialized countries have developed a proclivity for instant service. Delay in getting anything these days has become annoying, even intolerable to some. Therefore, it’s no wonder that most building occupants expect instant hot water whenever they turn on a sink, lavatory or shower.

Most modern users get somewhat annoyed if adequate water temperatures are delayed more than 20 seconds. This is especially so if the user happens to be a doctor or nurse in a hospital or other type of medical facility, where seconds can sometimes be the difference between life and death.
