MEMPHIS, Tenn. – SSR has hired Greg Bologna as director of the process and automation division for the firm’s Memphis office.

Bologna is responsible for division marketing and business development, project and client management, and control system engineering.

Prior to joining SSR, Bologna served as senior project manager with Edison Automation, Inc., a Nashville-based supplier of electrical, control and automation products and services. Previously, he worked in several positions with International Paper in Loveland, Ohio and directed the design and implementation of advanced control systems for next generation high-speed packaging equipment.

With 22 years of industrial and process control experience and extensive project management success, Bologna is also the co-inventor of two U.S. patents in the field of motion control. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and his master’s degree in the same field at Memphis State University.
