FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – SSR, an engineering design and facility consulting firm, has hired Wayne Williams, E.I., as a mechanical engineer in the firm’s Ft. Lauderdale office. 
         Williams is responsible for the design of mechanical systems and specifications, as well as construction administration duties. Previously, he served as a mechanical designer for TLC Engineering for Architecture in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
         Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The City University of New York. He is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
