When more than 3 inches of rain fell on Collierville during a storm last July, flash flooding created "rivers in places there weren't supposed to be rivers," Town administrator James Lewellen said at the time.
This week the Mayor and Board of Aldermen approved a $68,043 contract with Smith Seckman Reid Inc. for a study of storm water flows in the Queen Oaks Drainage Basin.
