NASHVILLE, Tenn. – SSR has hired Tammy Hawes as vice president. She will serve as the compliance and facility management team leader.

Hawes is responsible for overseeing operations and growth of the firm’s regulatory compliance consulting practice. This specialty consulting practice focuses on providing educational support and technology for health care providers to ensure that they are in compliance with The Joint Commission’s regulations and policies, as well as the regulations of many other federal, state and local government organizations.

Before joining SSR, Hawes served as the president of Axis Accounting System in Nashville. She also worked at Paradigm Health Corporation in Brentwood, Tenn., Concord, Conn. and Deerfield, Ill. Hawes previous experience also includes serving as senior management consultant at G.A. Sullivan in St. Louis, Mo. and the CIO at Central Parking Systems in Nashville.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
