SSR - Houston - Key Staff

Richard Morris, who joined Smith Seckman Reid in 1990, leads the firm’s Southwestern Division with offices in Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, Denver and Kansas City. Morris is responsible for managing multi-discipline, multi-team offices, participating daily with the development of new clients and markets, negotiating client/owner contracts and fees, and architectural/MEP project coordination. His division specializes in work for healthcare and other institutional facilities.

Morris also serves on the Board of Advisors for Spaulding for Children and is an active member and contributor to state and national professional organizations, including the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. He is a member of the National Register of Peer Professionals, a General Services Administration (GSA) panel that is an integral part of its nationwide Design Excellence Program. Morris serves on the Texas State University College of Science Technical Board of Advisors and has lectured at Harvard University, University of Houston and Kansas State University.

Randy N. Rogers, PE, Senior Vice President

Rogers is a group leader in SSR’s Houston office. A registered professional engineer in seven states, Rogers is responsibilities include project management of health care projects including client/owner contact, fee negotiations and architectural/MEP project coordination and engineering team management. His specialties include power distribution, motor control, fire alarm systems, communication systems, emergency power systems and lighting systems for institutional and commercial buildings. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical technology from Texas Tech University in 1987.

Kevin G. Wolfford, CPD, Senior Vice President

Wolfford is a group leader in SSR’s Houston and Dallas offices and is responsibe for the project management of health care projects including client/owner contact, fee negotiations and architectural/MEP project coordination and engineering team management. His specialties include plumbing, medical gas, fire protection systems design, preparation of construction documents and specifications for health care, institutional, industrial and commercial facilities. He earned his degree in drafting technology from Lamar University in 1983.

Jonas T. McBride, PE, Vice President

McBride is a team leader in SSR's Houston office. He specializes in health care systems design, power distribution, essential power systems, computer power and UPS systems, fire alarm systems, lighting design, benchmarking and engineering standards. He earned his bachelor's degree in architectural engineering at Kansas State University in 1995.

Jon Perucki, PE, Vice President

Perucki is a Team Leader in SSR's Houston office. He specializes in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for healthcare and educational facilities. He earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 1986.

Aric Murray is responsible for managing a multi-discipline design team comprised of project managers, engineers and engineering technicians for multiple projects to help meet client goals. He also works in development of new clients and markets, maintaining existing client relationships and negotiation of fees, as well as general staff management.

He earned his bachelors degree in architectural engineering at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

Pam Borsos, Director of Business Development

Pam is the business development director for the Southwestern division and is responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities and assisting the principals of the firm in developing and executing a successful business development plan. In addition, Pam is responsible for developing external division communications in the form of mailers, business periodical publications and developing the corporate website. Her expertise in executing all forms of business development activities has created many business opportunities for SSR. She welcomes any business opportunity inquiry in the division’s market sector.
