SSR's Recent New Hires
April 2010 – Rodney May was hired as a project manager and senior mechanical engineer. In his new position, May will be responsible for the design of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for health care facilities, higher education institutions, laboratory facilities, and data centers. May earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Texas at Arlington. He is a registered mechanical engineer in the state of Texas.
November 2009 – Donald Wilson was hired as a senior plumbing designer and is responsible for plumbing, medical gas, and fire protection design functions from schematic design through construction. Prior to joining SSR, he worked for Schmidt and Stacy Consulting Engineers in Dallas. Wilson earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from East Texas State University, now known as Texas A&M University – Commerce and has taken fire protection courses at Oklahoma State University. He currently is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and is certified in plumbing design.
October 2009 – Margaret Taraba was hired as a mechanical engineer-in-training and she is responsible for design and production of construction documents for heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for health care facilities, higher education institutions, laboratory facilities, and data centers. Taraba earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University. She holds certification as a LEED® Accredited Professional and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

SSR Hires New Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer in its Dallas Office
SSR recently hired Jared Edwards as project manager and mechanical engineer in the firm’s Dallas office.
In his new position, Edwards will be responsible for the design of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for health care facilities, data centers, laboratory facilities and higher education institutions.
Edwards earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and also holds certification as a LEED® Accredited Professional.
