CARF Surveys
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), section 1.E., requires accredited organizations to maintain an accessible, safe and clean environment for the persons served by that organization. This is accomplished through an annual inspection performed by a qualified “External” authority and a semi-annual “Internal” safety review. SSR can provide a comprehensive “External” inspection of the required health and safety areas as defined by CARF, and provide consultation and/or training to organizations for completing the “Internal” safety reviews. SSR can also provide guidance/assistance in developing applicable policies/procedures, tracking mechanisms, and compliance documentation.
SSR’s staff includes specialists in regulatory compliance, fire safety, general safety, security, infection control, environmental protection, equipment and utilities, and previous healthcare facility engineers. Our mission is to provide you with the guidance and tools you need to fulfill YOUR mission of providing a safe and accessible facility for the persons you serve.
