Nashville Office Gains Senior Project Manager

Brett Griffin brings extensive experience with Mission Critical Facilities

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects announces it has hired Brett Griffin, PE, LEED AP, as a Senior Project Manager in the firm’s Nashville office.

Griffin joins SSR with a wealth of experience with mission critical facilities, including extensive work with chilled water systems, direct expansion systems, waterside and airside economizers, thermal and condenser water storage systems, continuous cooling applications, air containment strategies, large rooftop unit systems, individual direct expansion unit systems, and various chilled and condenser water pumping facilities. In his previous role, Griffin served many roles, including client manager, project manager, mechanical engineer, and team leader. Some of his responsibilities included developing business processes and standards, reviewing and advising on technical issues, and mentoring other engineers.

Griffin was recipient of Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s 40 Under 40 Award in 2013, recognizing building industry professionals who stand out in all aspects of their lives. He has been published multiple times, and spoken at industry conferences and events, specifically on data centers and mission critical facilities. Griffin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, IL.
