SSR Expands Civil/Environmental Program in Nashville
Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects announces the addition of two engineering interns, Kate MacIndoe, EI and Ashley Goddard, EI to work in the firms expanding Civil/Environmental Program.
“We are excited to have Kate and Ashley join the Civil/Environmental Program,” said Bo Butler, PE, Senior Principal and Program Director. “They will be deeply involved in assisting with design and construction administration activities for water and wastewater infrastructure projects for our clients across the southeastern United States.”
MacIndoe joins SSR as recent graduate from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. She graduated with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Kate brings experience from previous internships at SSOE and Flughum, MacIndoe, and Associates, Inc. She is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), where she served as chapter Secretary from 2014-2015, and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).
Goddard comes to SSR with dual degrees; a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering for Tennessee Technology University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee. She brings experience from her previous internship at AVCON, Inc. and Goddard Construction Services. Ashley is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Water Professionals, and Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She was also a member of the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society from 2014-2015 where she served at the chapter Marshall and Editor.
