SSRCx Hires Mechanical Commissioning Agent in Nashville
Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects announces that Kevin Rumbolt, EI, has joined the Nashville office where he will serve as a Commissioning Agent.
“Kevin will be adding a much needed depth in our commissioning team’s pre-construction services group,” said Rusty Ross, PE, LEED AP BD+C, EMP, CxA, Director of Pre Construction Phase Commissioning Services for SSR. “He will be developing commissioning plans including creating installation check sheets for equipment as well as functional test procedures for commissioned systems. In addition, Kevin will assist in arranging parameters and data points for new projects in P+, our new web-based trending software.”
Rumbolt, a recent college graduate, has experience with mechanical design and energy audits, including best practices for large scale energy usage facilities. He earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. Rumbolt served as vice president of the school’s ASHRAE chapter and is an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
