SSR’s Dallas Office Grows by Two

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects has hired two technical personnel in the firm’s Dallas office. Ray Lewis, PE, joins as a Senior Electrical Engineer; Thomas Lenz as a Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer.

Lewis brings 31 years of industry experience in electrical power distribution design for healthcare, commercial, industrial, and federal facilities, including valuable experience in designing critical power distribution systems. He is registered in 12 states, including Texas, and has received Top Secret clearance from the US Government. Lewis graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

“We’re excited to have Ray join the SSR in Dallas,” said Darren Harvey, PE, LEED AP, Principal with SSR. “His diverse expertise in electrical engineering and construction of complex electrical systems will be an asset to our clients as well as our internal team members as the office continues to grow.”

Lenz is an experienced plumbing and fire protection designer with ten years of experience designing for commercial, healthcare, and education projects. He earned an Associate of Computer Aided Design/Architectural Drafting from ATI Career Training and is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
