SSR’s Houston Office Grows with Three

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects has hired Leslie Doak, Christopher Mitchell, and Brian Parrott to work in the firms Houston office. Doak is joining the team as a CADD operator, Mitchell as a senior electrical designer, and Parrott as a senior mechanical designer.

“We are excited to have three quality individuals join us the same time,” said Kevin Wolfford, Regional Operations Director for SSR. “Each brings to SSR a level of design and Revit experience that will enable us to continue to provide quality services to our clients. There is a level of excitement and enthusiasm they all bring to the table that will enhance the SSR spirit and will help us to maintain the high level of pride we have in what we do each and every day.”

Doak has over 10 years of industry experience. His skills will be utilized in the Houston office and across the firm’s MEPT program, with a strong emphasis on the healthcare market.

Mitchell comes to SSR with over 20 years of drafting experience in the industry, including eight years of electrical design focused on commercial and educational facilities. He has an extensive background in 3D software, including Revit and AutoCAD. In a previous role, Mitchell guided the development and implementation of CAD/Revit standards. He is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute in Houston, TX.

Parrott has seven years of mechanical design experience as well as experience in project management and construction administration. He has vast knowledge in laboratory, warehouse, and office building reconstruction and design build.  Parrott is experienced with AutoCAD and Revit software.
