SSR’s Technology Group’s Growth Continues
Graves and Hawroth join SSR as Senior Technology Consultants
Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), a leader among engineering firms in designing, consulting, and commissioning projects, announces the addition of two consultants to its Technology Group. Darren Graves and Lawrence (Lonnie) Haworth, RCCD, LEED AP, both join SSR as Senior Technology Consultants.
Graves re-joins SSR’s Houston office after a three year absence. He has more than 15 years of experience in the communications and security industries. His relationships with architects, end users, and others will be provide value to SSR customers and help promote technology and services in the Houston area.
“We are excited to have Darren back,” said Ray Tucker, Principal for the Technology Group. “His past experience at SSR, added to his experience, while away, will enhance the offerings of the SSR Technology program.”
Hawroth joins SSR to work overseas in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as part of the firm’s megaproject at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center. The project consists of 4.3 million square feet of clinical space and 1.2 million square feet of non-clinical space.
“Lonnie’s construction and technology experience makes him uniquely qualified for this position,” said Tucker. “As the SSR representative for this project, he will be responsible for managing procurement and installation of all low voltage systems.”
Hawroth’s expertise is in information technology design development, installation, project management, and quality control for large hospital projects. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Physics from the University of Texas and is a BICSI registered communications distribution designer (RCDD) and a certified LEED AP by the USGBC.
