New Nissan Stadium Tops Out, Signaling Transition to Final Construction Phase

3 minute read

The New Nissan Stadium project, the future home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, has reached a major construction milestone with the final steel beam in place, marked by a toppingout ceremony in late 2025. This achievement signifies that the structure has reached its highest point and that the primary steel framework is complete.

Following this milestone, the project transitioned into the next phase of construction, with work progressing toward installation of the cable net roofing system that supports the stadium’s ETFE roof. This semitransparent enclosure, like systems used in other NFL venues, represents a critical step toward fully enclosing the building. Once installed, the stadium will be considered “dried in,” allowing interior construction activities to advance at an accelerated pace.

From an interior standpoint, most major MEP equipment has already been installed, with our team team actively supporting observation reports, system testing, and commissioning efforts. This coordination is helping maintain project momentum as construction advances through key technical milestones.

The entire design and construction team continues to be highly engaged on-site, providing regular, handson support to help move the project forward. As the stadium enters its final year of construction, efforts remain focused on maintaining schedule, supporting system integration, and progressing toward completion of this landmark venue for Nashville and the Tennessee Titans.
