Greenhouse Gas and SSR Reporting
SSR is developing its greenhouse gas emissions inventory to better understand how day-to-day operations influence the company’s carbon footprint. Our inventory includes both Scope 1 Direct and Scope 2 Indirect emissions. Our Scope 1 emissions come from the company’s fleet vehicles, HVAC refrigerants and natural gas consumption. Our Scope 2 emissions come from purchased electricity. While SSR has many offices located around the country, the Nashville Headquarters is the only building where we have significant operational control. This baseline inventory is the first step towards reducing our environmental impact and becoming a more sustainable company.
