Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR), a leader among firms in design, consulting, and planning, is pleased to announce that Joe Hosek, AIA, NCARB, has joined the firm as Principal and Director of the Building Enclosure Business Unit. Based in Denver, Hosek will oversee project performance, colleague development, and service line growth for one of SSR’s fastest-growing business units, which includes teams in Tennessee, Florida, Texas, and Colorado. He will be responsible for continuously improving and scaling operations for the future to support our colleagues and clients with high performance.
“Joe is taking the lead of our Building Enclosure Business Unit at a unique and critical time,” said Greg Isaacs, Principal. “Adding his leadership is in response to the demand for one of our fastest growing and most dynamic teams. Continuously improving internal processes will immediately help our colleagues respond to growing demand and result in even better work products for our owner, architect, and contractor clients.”
Hosek brings more than 30 years of experience in architecture and building enclosure consulting, with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering technical excellence across a wide range of market sectors. His operations experience directly aligns with all four of SSR’s building enclosure services: facility condition assessments, design, testing, and quality assurance commissioning. Joe’s strengths in specialty design and testing align with the goals and differentiators the team is actively pursuing. Additionally, his expertise spans new construction, forensic analysis, commissioning, and owner representation, with a focus on aligning strategic planning with team development and client service.
“I am very excited to join the team of owners at SSR!” said Hosek. “I was particularly drawn to SSR because of its commitment to furthering each team member in pursuit of their own professional and personal goals, and in doing so, fulfilling SSR’s mission of providing great service to its clients. This alignment of personal and firmwide goals is a vision I can really get behind, and I hope to contribute daily by being a catalyst for growth both for my team members and the overall goals of SSR.”
