SSR provided services for the new construction, renovation, and addition phases of the San Antonio Military Medical Center project.  The campus is the largest inpatient medical facility managed by the Department of Defense (DOD).  It provides 425 beds, the only Burn Center, and the only Level 1 Trauma Center owned by the DOD, in the U.S.  SSR was able to fast track the early release of major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment to facilitate a compressed construction schedule while also demonstrating our ability to design systems to meet the EPACT requirements for Federal projects.
