“Andre brings over 30 years of experience in the Texas AEC market, including over 10 years of experience in whole building commissioning operations leadership and business development,” said Jim Seckel, Principal. “He is widely-recognized and respected in the commissioning field, known for both his technical knowledge and dedication to serving clients. He is a perfect fit for continuing to grow our commissioning business throughout Texas and surrounding states.”

Andre brings nearly three decades of client and project management experience providing commissioning for large, complex projects. This work has included MEP design reviews, site inspections and testing, existing facility LEED O&M certification, and condition assessments as well as overseeing building enclosure services. Andre’s market focus has been on K-12 and higher education work across Texas with experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, and government projects as well.

“I’m extremely excited to join SSR,” said Lehr. “I’ve always known SSR to be a highly valued and qualified MEP design and whole building commissioning firm. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside SSR on projects in the past and I’m thankful to now be on the team. I’m looking forward to tackling today’s most challenging new construction projects and programs with SSR.”

Andre graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in construction management. He has been an active member of ASHRAE, AEE, TAHFM, COAA, CMAA, SAME, and multiple other organizations over the years.
