Mike Borgelt Expands SSR’s Offerings in Denver

(SSR) is pleased to announce that Michael “Mike” Borgelt has joined the firm as a Building Enclosure Regional Manager in the firm’s Denver office. With nearly 50 years leading all phases of building enclosure-related projects, Mike will be a local resource to enhance the quality of services SSR offers to Denver and the surrounding region.

“Mike brings extensive experience in forensic evaluation of building enclosure issues and failures, and the corresponding repair design of those conditions,” said Greg Isaacs, PE, CxA+BE, BECxP, Principal and Building Enclosure Service Line Director. “He is very knowledgeable of the healthcare market and will contribute immediately to SSR’s projects.”

Throughout his career, Mike has provided technical excellence and responsive customer service to his clients. He is an experienced project manager, operations director, and business developer that strives to provide exceptional client experiences while building long-term relationships. His background in healthcare, educational, commercial, and other institutional markets will complement the firm’s business development efforts and project workload in the greater Denver market.

Mike brings nearly 50 years of industry experience, including decades of project management and operational responsibilities. He has extensive knowledge of building enclosure forensics, roof evaluations, and water proofing, and is knowledgeable in IBC, BOCA National, UBC, SBC, ASTM, NFPA, FGI Guideline to Healthcare, International Code Council, and Accessibility Standards. Mike is active in the industry as a member of multiple professional organizations, including IIBEC, AIA, and CAHED.
