Super Bowl Preparations at Allegiant Stadium

At SSR we pride ourselves on being a trusted advisor for all our projects, and that partnership extends to all phases of a building and is not exclusive to design and construction. We truly believe in providing an exceptional client experience, and know that just because a project has opened, does not mean that our work can or should be done. Allegiant Stadium is a prime example of how our team has stayed connected to the operations team, continuing our relationship beyond the initial stadium opening in 2020. As Allegiant prepares to host Super Bowl LVIII, they have continued to improve and enhance the facility with various projects. SSR has been a constant partner in these smaller projects, providing the same design excellence as the original stadium, but also the knowledge and insights that come from working with the original team, standards, and existing conditions.

Premium Club Suites

Ahead of the 2023 season, Allegiant added 16 new club-level suites as premium seating options. These suites were a direct response to market surveys and premium ticketholders’ feedback. Accommodating 16 or 32 fans, they replaced open seating for two club areas that previously had lounge seating and couches. The high-end suites include an exclusive and all-inclusive F&B program that rivals the best of Vegas.

Exterior Canopy and NFL Badging Area Expansions

In preparation for Super Bowl LVIII, Allegiant Stadium extended many of the exterior canopies around the venue to better accommodate crowds. These were strategically identified in high traffic areas expecting increased fan and media foot traffic around the stadium. The expanded canopies include the addition of mister fans and additional lights for increased comfort and safety.

In addition, existing shell spaces within the stadium have been fit-out as NFL badging areas to accommodate the increased staff required for a large event like the Super Bowl.

For this work, SSR provided electrical design services and on-site construction administration. Our team is excited to have the opportunity to continue working on such a world class venue and look forward to seeing Allegiant Stadium shine on February 11.
